I remember when none of my therapists seemed to understand what I was going through despite employing various techniques. And while I draw from a full toolbox of theories -- from somatic therapy, communication theory, neurobiology, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and others – I believe some of these vital tools can be poor masters.

There are limits to what can be achieved with logic. I can help you learn to work with emotions and get to the core for lasting change. As a Psychodynamic and Existential therapist, I’m ready to delve into big questions about life, death, identity, meaning. As a certified EMDR practitioner, I cherish the opportunity to help you process and integrate trauma.

I don’t believe there’s a wrong way to be human. That’s why I’m particularly of service to the LGBTQIA+ community, polyamorous folk (or anyone exploring non-traditional relationship approaches), and other intersectional identities (Jewish, trans and gender diverse, people of color, and those who occupy in between spaces or defy categorization).

My positive feedback often includes comments like, “Sitting with you, I feel safe.” Clients tell me they feel respected and regarded as full of potential to be their best selves, and this (besides mere abilities and experience) truly helps catalyze positive outcomes through our sessions together.

I frequently see clients with the following:

· Trauma, PTSD & C-PTSD (including sexual trauma)

· Dissociative Disorders

· Existential & Spiritual Dilemmas
